Hi,
Regarding the obit on Mr. Boyajian, earlier this century (cripes, that sounds
odd) I had some dealings with a graphic technician at a company called "Microtek".
His name was Boyajian so I inquired as to the possibility of his being related
to our Mr. Boyajian. Alas, he wasn't; although, both of us suspected some "old-country" connection
going back to Armenia. However, as a result, I had come across the attached
info [see article and photo] and passed it along to my acquaintance.
I'm happy to share this with everyone.
My favorite classroom experience with Mr. Boyajian occurred when he rapturously
described his first night with his wife on their honeymoon. They were camped
in some park or forest. I was staggered by his description of the fun they
had catching and inspecting all of the night-time insects. It was almost
enough to make me think there were other things in life than substance abuse.
